HISTORY
The history of Hilmed Private Limited is linked with the last century. It began in 1916, when Mr. Muhammad Jaffer (Late) laid the foundationof a small surgical instruments manufacturing workshop in the industrial city of Sialkot, Pakistan.
In 1946, three sons of Mr. Muhammad Jaffer; Mr. Muhammad Safdar, Mr. Muhammad Ashraf and Mr. Muhammad Akram (Late) estblished a partnership company under the name of Hillrich Brothers. The scope of the company was to manufacture and export surgical instruments.
Two young descendants of Jaffer family; Mr. Muhammad Nasir and Mr. Masud Ahmed started a similar type of business in 1954. The name of their company wa Surgical Corporation.
Both companies: Hillrich brothers and Surgical Corporation joined hands and formed a new company called Hilbro Private Limited in 1961. Two younger sons of Mr. Muhammad Jaffer; Mr. Ejaz Ahmed (Late) and Mr. Pervaiz Iqbal also joined the family business later on.
Now with over the 100 years of experience in same business, the third generation has established a new company with the name Hilmed Private Limited. The company is being run by Mr. Sohail Nasir, Mr. Nadeem Nasir and Mr. Haseeb Nasir, sons of Mr. Muhammad Nasir and Mr. Rehan Masud and Mr. Ayaz Masud, sons of Mr. Masud Ahmed.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
To keep ourselves in the list of leading instruments manufacturing companies. Hilmed has set out an R&D department, where we create ideas for new instruments and make modifications in present versions to add more sophisticated products to our portfolio. We are experienced to make special instruments as per customer specifications.
